How to Reuse Your Candle Mug

Your candle mug was designed to live a second life. Once you've enjoyed every last bit of fragrance, here's how to transform it into your new favorite coffee or tea mug.

Step 1: Freeze

Place your mug in the freezer for a few hours. Once the remaining wax has hardened, gently remove it with a spoon. Remove the wick tab from the bottom of the mug.

Step 2: Wash

Place the mug in the dishwasher and run a normal cycle, or hand wash with hot water and a little dish soap. Either way, the mug will come out clean of any remaining wax and fragrance residue — ready for everyday use.

Brew your favorite coffee, steep a cup of tea, or fill it with whatever brings you comfort. Your candle may be gone, but the mug is just getting started.
